June, 2010:

In celebration of the Fourth of July, Quail Springs Baptist Church, in partnership with the Quail Springs Church of Christ and Prospect Church, had its 10th Freedom & Faith Festival last night! It was really a ton of fun for all! We took the kiddos and met up with the Larison's and the rest of our small group from our Sunday morning services. The kids played on all kinds of blow-up slides, bouncy things, and obstacle courses! We showed up around 8pm, but next year we will head out at 6pm when it get's started so the kids can play more. They had a blast! At 9:30, we watched the fireworks show and I captured it all in glorious HD on my iPhone 4!

The video was entirely filmed, edited, and produced on my iPhone 4! It's quite amazing… I noticed that the background music cuts out around the 2 minute mark due to iMovie on the iPhone doing something that I haven't quite figured out yet, but all in all its rockin! I hope you enjoy it. Some of images are a little grainy because of the low light or they were taken with the front camera @ 1.3MP instead of 5MP, but the iPhone 4 really takes good pictures in all lighting conditions and I have been impressed! I'm sure I will tell you more about my new phone some other time, so for now just enjoy the video!

My first movies with my iPhone 4 and I used iMovie for the iPhone for the first time. Really simple and cool. I didn’t do much editing… Just transitions and stuff. I don’t think it sends it to YouTube in HD, but the quality is awesome on the phone! Super easy and cool output too! Enjoy the summertime fun!

I grew up with an amazing father who loves me and continues to be one of my biggest supporters. Then God blessed me with an amazing hubby and father to my kids. Today we had a lazy kind of day. We called Poppa and Pappy first thing. We had breakfast for Daddy and worked at Poppa’s. Now Trey is napping with the kids. He got his present, his fire pit a few weeks ago. We are truly lucky to have him around. He is genuinely loved and appreciated even though he can be a rotten egg from time to time.

Well, our little man is eight months old and growing and developing every day. He is getting his second tooth now as well as sitting up. He still doesn’t like to roll over unless it is his idea. He will go after his toys and sister some though. He is a great eater and happy little guy. He loves to play with his sisters, toys, and exersaucer. He has began clapping and his own hand slaps. He gigglies and grins constantly. However, his temper has began to appear from time to time. I don’t know where he gets that???

As we begin to enjoy our first summer without a new baby or pregnant mommy, the girls have been enjoying the pool, swing set, and of course their cousins. Here are a few pictures off them at play. Since Nana keeps them so I can work the have many adventures including dress up, cooking, the library and much much more.

Pryce and the girls got in the pool this afternoon in our backyard. It was Pryce’s first time in the pool. He did really well considering how cold the water was at the time. Enjoy the video!
